- Pokémon Mocha and Latte -
Plot Concept: (This information is unofficial, as of now.) Team Genetic (possibly Genetic Corp.) is a group of scientists and radicals who banded together in an attempt to reinvent Pokémon through their genetic engineering. It is a probability they will attempt to replace the natural birth cycle of Pokémon all together, alter their biological habitats and change the way they think, feel, look and function. This may change things such as their emotional nature, natural abilities and strength, even their mentality, alignment and morals to something which may be dangerous to trainers, disallowing them to catch, train, or even befriend Pokémon.
First they experiment with type changes, (giving altered versions of the starters obtainable in-game) as well as other Pokémon. Next they decide to splice two different types of Pokémon, which you may run into as well. Soon the splicing is more difficult and complex, possibly using more than two types of Pokémon, and then their leader has a plan… to genetically engineer Pokémon based on the DNA of a human.
They do this by taking a captive (possibly a child, major NPC or otherwise) and creating the newest attempt of a Pokémon who can feel human emotions, since Mewtwo. Deciding it was fairly a success, while not perfect in terms of copying the human appearance or emotional and mental likeness, nor the ability to speak, these so-called DNA Pokémon were perfect DNA matches with, when tested, similar mental and emotional processes to that of their human counterpart.
This could mean that these Pokémon were attached to the people they were made from, it is also possible that they share more with them, as much is still unknown. However, it seemed the Pokémon had become attached to the person who had it's DNA, rather than the person responsible for it's creation. Various experiments were done, so this was dependent from person to person, but a majority of the "good people" had their Pokémon refuse captivity and desired a kinship with their DNA parent.
The next step Team Genetic took was to find all of the worthy trainers in the region and use them to make powerful Pokémon. For if their team could not consist of strong and worthy grunts, it could consist of strong Pokémon used by them. The scientists and revolutionary men behind the scenes were creative and smart, but not particularly strong or tactful during battle.
First they set their sights on the Gymleaders. During the next couple of weeks, gyms of every town and city were reportedly attacked and swarmed by wild Pokémon. However, the culprits were never caught and when they were spotted, it became known that Team Genetic was behind the incidents; though no one was able to stop them before they fled the scene. Some time later people reported seeing strange Pokémon in the areas that had been attacked.

Information: This game is going to be somewhat of a tribute to the original Capumon.
Including many fanbased theories and concepts not used in the original.
None of it is really canon in the world of the current series of Pokémon, however, it is always fun to observe the "what-ifs" surrounding the series. I will try to cover most theories (including just a few NPC and event dialogues surrounding possible/unused theories such as that Venonat and Butterfree look more similar than their actual evolution chains - but in-game there is no way to get these evolutions to swap.); while others are actually made to be real, such as the Gold Beta starters Happa, Kurusu and Honoguma (which will be renamed and made as starters with evolutions). Despite the fact that Chikorita is already a starter, in which case I believe I'll make Happa obtainable via a baby Pokémon from breeding (similar to how Mr. Mime can be bred to yield a Mime Jr. when Odd Incense is held.); so another Grass starter will be made in it's place possibly (or I may just make them as separate Pokémon, not starters).
Planned Features: (May be changed at any time before the release)
